ECEMS owners Mari Palma and Rita Samora
Our Story

Caring for Pueblo’s children, generation after generation.

ECEMS has been a place where children are known, cared for, encouraged, and given room to grow. Since 2014, our owners have continued building relationships with Pueblo families that extend far beyond the classroom.

Since 2014 Proudly caring for Pueblo families

A place families can grow with.

At ECEMS, childcare is about more than getting through the day. It is about creating a safe, welcoming place where children can explore, build relationships, gain confidence, and feel that they belong.

Over the years, Mari Palma and Rita Samora have cared for and supported children across Pueblo, building relationships with families that continue as children grow and new generations come through the doors.

That history shapes the way ECEMS approaches early childhood education today: with consistency, compassion, play, family partnership, and a genuine commitment to each child.

Rooted in Pueblo Years of relationships with local children, parents, grandparents, and families.
Built on Relationships Children thrive when families and educators work together with trust and open communication.
Learning Through Childhood Play, curiosity, exploration, and meaningful experiences guide how children learn and grow.

Favorite Reminder
“Don’t quit.”

Every child deserves to feel known, safe, and encouraged.

Our goal is to create an environment where children can be curious, build confidence, form meaningful relationships, and develop the social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical skills that support a strong beginning.
